Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Cura app (“we,” “the app”) handles user information. Cura is built so that your medicine cabinet data stays as private as possible — by default, it never leaves your device.

What data we process

Cura stores information about your medicines (name, category, expiration date, quantity) locally on your device using SwiftData. We don’t require you to create an account.

Sync between devices

Cura currently doesn’t use iCloud or any other cloud sync. Data isn’t transferred between your devices or stored on any servers — only locally, on the device where you entered it.

If you delete the app or switch devices, your medicine cabinet data won’t transfer automatically.

Analytics and third parties

Cura doesn’t use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We don’t collect usage statistics.

Crash reports

The app isn’t connected to any third-party crash-reporting service (such as Crashlytics or Sentry). If the app crashes, a standard anonymous report may be sent automatically to Apple through your device’s system settings — this is controlled by iOS, not by Cura.

Notifications

Cura asks for permission to send local notifications to remind you about upcoming expiration dates or low stock. These notifications are generated and delivered directly on your device, without involving any third-party servers.

Children’s privacy

Cura isn’t intended for independent use by children and doesn’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Your control over your data

Since data is stored locally, deleting the app removes all your medicine cabinet information from the device. Individual medicines can be deleted manually at any time within the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy — for example, if we add sync or analytics in the future. We’ll announce significant changes through an app update or this page.
